چکیده

Electronic health records (EHRs) and medical data are classified as personal in every privacy law, meaning that any related service includes processing such must come with full security, confidentiality, privacy, accountability. Solutions for management, storing it, sharing emerging quickly were significantly boosted by the COVID-19 pandemic created a need to move things online. EHRs make crucial part of digital identity data, same trends—as self-sovereign powered decentralized ledger technologies like blockchain, being researched or implemented contexts managing interactions between facilities, patients, professionals. In this paper, we propose blockchain-based solution enabling secure exchange different parties (SSI) wallet identifiers. We also use consortium IPFS network off-chain storage attribute-based encryption (ABE) ensure confidentiality integrity. Through our solution, grant users control over their enable them securely share it total communication channels user wallets using encryption. DIDs better limit possible correlations identification pairwise DIDs. Overall, combining set guarantees EHRs, storage, management along by-design features inherited from technological stack.

Secure and Trustable Electronic Medical Records Sharing using Blockchain

Electronic medical records (EMRs) are critical, highly sensitive private information in healthcare, and need to be frequently shared among peers. Blockchain provides a shared, immutable and transparent history of all the transactions to build applications with trust, accountability and transparency. This provides a unique opportunity to develop a secure and trustable EMR data management and sha...
